REM - 11.1.04 - Constitution Hall

i could very easily go on and on about the events of the past 24 hours, but i won't. i'm too tired, hungover, and completely disgusted with the whole thing. in related news, i have a very pleasant life in canada to look forward to. more details to follow.

thank god "lost" was on tonight. i needed a dominic fix in a bad way. and what a night! he was the focus of the entire episode, it was domi-riffic. ;) hot hot hot. that's all i can say. that show, i might add... is sooooo amazing. every week i love it more & more & more. i can honestly say that if dominic weren't on it, i'd still love it, although i wouldn't giggle nearly as much when i watch it.

hmmmm what to say what to say? this week has been insane, even aside from the obvious . my job is making me crazy, i feel like i barely have time to breath some days. i'm in charge of the southeast team, which means i talk to southerners on the phone all day. in light of recent politic events, the south makes me want to vomit, so today was rough. (oh but didn't my heart go pitter-patter last night for about 20 minutes when "virginia was too close to call!" - that's right, we're waking up, slowly but surely...)

monday! monday! monday! --- before the insanity, when there was still hope in the world. met up with yusef at constitution hall around 8:45, despite the fact that he was supposed to have been there at EIGHT. (showstoppers rule #1: don't be LATE!) a whole bunch of nerds were in our private box with us, but we made them regret it. ;) hahaha "yay for gay people!!" and we definitely entertained nearly everyone around us... "you're right, he IS cute!!!" although- there was one moment of confusion though, towards the end of the show, "why's he keep talking about mariah carey? does she have a new album coming out???"

REM was amazing. to be perfectly honest. they played a fantastic setlist, heavy on the new stuff, which i had hoped for. if things don't work out with me and rufus or gavin or dominic or fran or my new girlfriend from this past weekend, i'll definitely settle down with mr. stipe... no problem.
