I cried the other night I can’t even say why..

well it's sunday night so that must mean it's time for my weekly list of regrets from the weekend. *sigh*

wendy didn't come up like she was supposed to, so i was left to create my own halloween excitment. friday night was pretty calm -- since i had a HORRIBLE day at work, all hell broke lose after lunch and i ended up staying til almost 7pm. then i met up with tina & marie for some drink at bungalows... left for home pretty early so i rented 'saved' and watched it with the kids before bed. it was really good, i enjoyed it. didn't know that michael stipe produced films. got some drunken text messages around 3AM and started to grumble about rude drunk boys text messaging in the middle of the night til i reviewed the average time of my outgoing messages... haha, hypocrite.

saturday i did some john kerry work with the madre, bought some cute new shoes and avoided my homework. met up with marie, steve, josh, josh's friends, and the roommate at baileys. i've decided that bailey's is the root of all evil. our nights are ALWAYS bizarre when we start at baileys. this weekend was just as weird as last weekend, minus the cops and crazy cabdrivers. there was a lot of weird drama with the roommate and steve, and marie and josh. i played innocent bystander til we went to mr. days to meet vicki and celebrate steve's bday. then things got Cray-Z. most of the people were dressed up, a lot of cute costumes, several very gross ones. the whole night was an unbalanced mix of heavy flirting and stolen kisses. about 30 minutes into being there i got TOTALLY hit on............
by a hot blonde girl!!! NOT kidding. hilarious (considering that we were at a straight bar for once)... a story that cannot be captured on a blog.
chad: "dude, i thought she was hitting on you... then i saw the cellphones come out, and i KNEW she was hitting on you! that's so hot right now!!!"

ha, i'm just happy that i've got options, although she was much too aggressive for my taste! i'm the boss. ;)
the happening party allowed me to get some valuable insight on why i'm always single...
steve: "you just stood at the bar looking so bored and so not interested in anyone... as if you're just killing time before you can go somewhere else." hahaha, and i thought i was having a good time. ugh, and damn the time change... nothing like leaving someone's random house party as the sun's coming up.

today i went out on the street to get the john kerry message to the last of the undecideds with d & m. good time, canvassed much of herndon. it was BEAUTIFUL weather..... gotta love that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so here's my HELLISH week ahead. feel bad for me.
monday: traffic court for my accident, day 1 of insane work week, REM with yusef (got kick a$$ seats!!!)
tuesday: vote, volunteer for an hour at the polls, day 2 of insane work week, kerry victory parties with tina and hopefully p.diddy & micheal stipe.
wendesday: election hangover, day 3 of insane work week, library land for thursday class
thursday: day 4 of work week, presentation in class
friday: day 5 of insane work week, ... going out of town???
