help me

HOLY CRAP-OLA!!!! last night's episode of Lost reaffirmed why i drive up to maryland to watch the show with yusef: because i have to have someone to discuss things with immediately afterwards!! oh man, last night was simply TOO amazing. all the haters that think last night's episode was too "out there" need to be reminded of one thing: suspension of disbelief!

Suspension of disbelief refers to the alleged willingness of a reader or viewer to accept as true the premises of a work of fiction, even if they are fantastic, impossible, or contradictory. It also refers to the willingness of the audience to overlook the limitations of a medium, so that these do not interfere with the acceptance of those premises. According to the theory, suspension of disbelief is a quid pro quo: the audience agrees to provisionally suspend their judgment in exchange for the promise of entertainment.

Lost has always been very clearly NOT based in reality, but that's why we love it! hello! and boy oh boy did the show provide some top-quality entertainment last night!! :) woo hoo! love it! it creeped me out so thoroughly i considered sleeping with the a nightlight on last night - no lie!

i continue to dislike jack more and more every week, and i really wish sayid would be allowed to give juliet the beatdown she truly deserves. locke is a tricky one to figure out. i'm definitely not on Team Locke, but i'm willing to accept that he's clearly a very important part of the Lost wonderland. the last two episodes of this season are going to be out-of-control and i can't wait to see them! i really feel like season 2 wasn't up to season one, no doubt, but it was important for the overall storyline. this season has been amazing, in my humble opinion. if i wanted a good story wrapped up in two hours, i'd watch a movie!

random thought: is it signifigant that richard is the person that first met ben and also encouraged locke to recruit sawyer to kill locke's father? hmmm.... perhaps *richard* is jacob? it certainly doesn't fit the picture but clearly richard is more important than the rest of the others.
