this wrecking ball you're holding, could crush the heart you've stolen...

very tired.

it's nearly 3am and i am home, in bed, alone, and sober. this is markedly different from the last five nights. what a week it's been. i think the drinking party started sometime last week, and i had to repeatedly look at a calendar today to even remember what day it is. drinking for free is not a good thing in my world, but there was a lot of laughter this week. been at the state every day now for a while, and saturday night i had an abrupt realization, and drank up the courage to finally admit to the world what everyone had long suspected. and by the world, i mean melissa... via text message... hahaha. but, ever the moral compass that she is, she guided me down the correct path. tried to mend the damage of the wrecking ball, and received further proof that i was correct in my suspicions last week. :) which is nice.

then, friday night, totallly out of the blue.... came a text message from december!!! soooooo hilarious. and, actually, quite flattering. luckily i learned my lesson the first time around, but it's nice to be told you're beautiful and wonderful once in a while... i must say, i'm getting a little tired of the whole "you don't seem like you want to settle down" lecture... it's not that i don't want to settle down, it's that i don't want to settle. i know what (who) i want.

so i came home tonight, before midnight, and meekly sat down and watched a movie with my sis, giving my liver a well deserved, if not long overdue, break from all the boozin.

in my latest attempt to excavate my room, i discovered my hanson underneath album i had believed to be looooooong gone. yay! i love those beautiful boys.

this week is a big one... including everyone's favorite day... MY BIRTHDAY!!! this friday!!!! what what?

"I give you my devotion all over again
And if you let me try tonight you just might see that
I’m falling
deeper and deeper and deeper in love
And I’m feelin’
more and more and more and more and more alone"
