happy persian new year!

i am tired in a way that makes entirely no sense. i'm beginning to think that i truly AM an insomniac... although i'll have to look into insomnia because it's not like i can't sleep at all... i just can't sleep before 5AM. it's ridiculous.

anyway, crazy weekend. wednesday was my long-overdue with Tray-Z at the black cat... heheheh goooood, CLASSIC, times with tray-z. enjoyed the national... REALLY enjoyed baby dayliner, and got a free CD to boot! woo hooo.... thursday i was asked to wait tables (for the first time, with ZERO training) at the state, which ended up being the most fun ever!!! seriously now i feel like i'm being punished when i'm back in the box. [and it was crazy easy money!!! can't believe i put up with stupid j.gilberts BS for all that time last fall....] friday night (after getting home @ 2am and then getting up @ 6 to sub... ugh!) i was back in the box because "you're the only one that knows how to keep the box under control".... grrrrreat! saturday night was the legwarmers show... and if you haven't heard of this band, be warned now... don't believe the hype!!! UGH! i mean, their music is all fine and good, for 80's covers, but GOOOOOOD LOOOORD their fanbase SUCKS!!! seriously, go to any preppy bar in NOVA/DC, look for all the annoying GW/georgetown/UVA/tech---frat/soriority students and put them in 80's stereotypical clothes and then pour booze down their throats and there you have it... the world's most annoying concert....

i must admit, it was a little amusing to watch 8 billion drunk people get kicked out before the night was even halfway finished, but not amusing enough to put up with the ATTITUDES of all the attendees...

but anyway... honor by aug?? this week, mates of state!! whoo hooo!!
