GO MASON!!!
got the game on... it's halftime and mason's down by 9, but it's anyone's game. i love the fact that all these local kids who would never have DREAMED of degrading themselves by actually GOING to mason are suddenly sporting green and gold like they care.
anyway, another insane week/weekend. had a wonderful belated birthday dinner with ashley before rushing home to catch "lost" on wednesday. stupidly volunteered to work a double on thursday... rushed out of the box at 10 to head over to the IOTA to watch honor by august. andrew and i had to laugh at ourselves for spending our night off from the state at a different venue. obsessives much? had a little bit too much to drink ( and by a little i mean a lot ) ... but luckily i had a wonderful sober driver taking care of me!!!! :) :) :) :)
friday was ANOTHER double at the state.. *sigh*.... but THANK THE GOOOOD LORD mr. lucho-cha-cha FINALLY came back from peru!!!! just in time too, pete was getting mighty tired of filling the lucho void in my life.... (hehehe, see his myspace page for more evidence.).... also friday wasn't as bad because i was serving again (sporting my AUTHENTIC green and gold, i might add, since i couldn't watch the game)... finally out of the cage!!! friday night was another late night, and noon on saturday came entirely too quickly. got suckered into a third double when the night shift showed up entirely unable to work. i couldn't say no since lucho was the one asking... i'm a sucka, but i did manage to escape for 2 hours to shower and change for the show that night... Mates of State!!! melissa, verdak, and tray-z showed up and got to party with the entire state crew until the wee hours of the night.... it was a great show too, got the new album on vinyl!!! woo hoo!
a random side note: i have come to terms with the fact that whenever i drink... no matter what i drink, or where i drink, or who i drink with, or even what i wear while drinking.... i will always fall down. falling is a way of life with me, and the scars on my knees are permanent. i used to be embarassed about this, but, now that i've accepted it as a fact, i'm fine with it.
this week has also brought about some interesting developments to my april LL. *blush* "good answers!!" ;)
