i feel so far from where i've been...

thursday night... feeling a little melancoly this evening... for a number of reasons. got a load on my mind, and decisions are weighing down on me.

got a call today from the voice of reason, aka mr y... it's like, thanks for reminding me of things i'd rather forget!!! and i don't know who you're kidding with the whole 'i'd skip madge or ani...' liar! :) it's cool though, no one else i know is strong enough to be my voice of reason... not even me...

[ugh, may i just interrupt this blog to mention that 'jesus take the wheel' just came on my yahoo player... a song that was offensive enough BEFORE elisa declared that carrie underwood looks like me!!! vomit!!!!]

speaking of the feolas/philadelphia, finally got a bit of good news about the philly job yesterday from none other than another philly-job-searcher sarah reynolds. time to get to the city of brotherly-love already, i'd say... or at least out of DC.

looooooong week of subbing is finally over, (gotta love 7th graders, so sweet!)... now back to the state... then headed to the 'burg for a couple days for some old fashioned country fun. :) my cousin thinks she's solved all my problems. we'll see.

james blunt is being used in literally every other commerical on TV these days. i won't say it, but i'm sure we can all guess what fantastic city james blunt reminds me of. i started to fill out visa paperwork for the UK last night, but something i can't put my finger on is holding me back... temporarily.

i'm honestly getting the feeling that '06 is going to be a big year for me. even bigger than '05... i can't explain why i think that, but little things keep happening to make me think i'm ready for things i certainly wasn't ready for a year ago.
