christmas 2004:
over. is it horrible to say 'yay!'... ??? i can't help that i'm glad it's over. i'll be more glad when new years is over. i'm done with 2004. done and done. time to MOVE ON.
(i said this same thing at the end of 2002, and 2000, but not 2003. interesting....)
left town friday morning to harrisonburg, then left harrisonburg saturday morning for roanoke, then left roanoke sunday morning for harrisonburg, then left harrisonburg monday morning for home (actually not even home, just work). too much driving, i say.
all the driving allowed me to listen to a SOLID mix of cds that i hadn't listened to in quite a while. ahhhh, love re-discovering CDs. and, best of all, i just found out that erasure's touring this spring!! woo-hoo!
got some mad cash from my father for xmas, and some other random things from the rest of the family. saw 'lemony snicket's a series of unfortunate events' with my dad on saturday... LOVED IT. it's a dark comedy... perfect.
oh, and if thanksgiving was the holiday of 'elf' quotes in my family, christmas was 'napolean dynamite'. haha. the movie's a lot funnier to talk about than to actually watch, but laughs nonetheless.

Is like a window in your heart
Everybody sees you're blown apart
everybody feels the wind blow"

oh! and i found out that my exboyfriend is getting MARRIED next month.... ahhhhhh... and to think that i could have had it all... damn me and my bad decisions! ;)
