am i only the one you love?

if yusef dies in the next several weeks, let it be said that i loved him the most.
i will play the ani DVD religously and force all to watch.

on a more serious yet very related note, i must mention that in all the rufus fervor monday night, i purchased the new ani difranco dvd as well, under advisement of yusef, who claimed that he was "in it." (the dvd was filmed last spring at the 9.30 club here in DC.)
when he said that he was "in it", i imagined something similiar to the way that i am "in" the DMB listener supported dvd. (that is, if you know where to look, i'm clearly there, otherwise you'd never find me.) so IMAGINE my shock/utter jealousy when i pop in the DVD, hit play, and suddenly my best friend YUSEF is basically a GQ model outside the 9.30 club!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD.... it's like, WHAAAAA????? who are you??????? if you haven't seen it, don't ask me to explain further. i just don't understand how he does it. i swear to god. then later on the DVD, there he is again being a mega-fan in the front row. i just don't GET IT.
i swear, always the video star's best friend, never the video star.

since it's wednesday night, we allllll know what that means!!! LOST. ahhhhhh when will i stop loving this show sooooo much??? tonight ROCKED. very little dominic but still amazing. they're totally hooking his character up with the pregnant blonde girl, *vomit*. (what about an un-pregnant blonde girl... i dunno, named courtney??) ;) kidding.

yay, one week til thanksgiving and my first four solid days out of NOVA since i went to wisconsin in august. YAY. yusef and i realized yesterday that it's been exactly 7 months since we last saw damien rice, and the fact that i have no major concert plans for the rest of 2004 is making me edgy. i'm cranky and mood-swingy and i need a fix.

ahhhhh did i even discuss the big comedy show with tray-z, tina & paul??? omg, HILARIOUS. it was stella comedy, with the guys from The State on MTV. we met all of them afterwards and APPARENTLY tray-z and i aren't as hilarious as we would like to think. it was still a stelluva show, though.

no big plans for the weekend, other than spending some quality time in a little place i like to call fenwick library. *sigh*

oh, and all the drinking. can't leave out all the drinking.
