they're still like our brothers,
our very very gay brothers...

i've decided that the saddest part of getting a new cell phone is going through your old phone and realizing all the people you won't be putting into your new phone for one reason or another.

i had my piano recital yesterday! yay! i was the *only* performer over the age of 18. it was great. wendy, daphane, and my father were in attendance... matt (daphane's boyfriend) told daphane during my performance that i should be in shampoo commercials. LOL.

friday night i went to the biltmore with robyn and e-beth. ran into some of ashlie's old friends that i hadn't seen in forever. saw that annoying clear channel guy that always sings tim mcgraw when they do karaoke. it was fun.

for some random reason i put paul simon on yesterday while i was getting ready for my recital and, quite frankly, i don't know how i've gone on this long without him. "slip slidin' away" simply must be the greatest song of all time.

i watched "love actually" this afternoon... there are all these deleted scenes on the DVD that are so good! i adore the little boy in the movie, he's completely right on. "worse? worse than the total agony of being in love?"

apparently i missed a classic mcfaddens/bob&ediths night with tina last night... damn it! :)

and think of things that might have been.
slip slidin' away..."
