no happy ending

happy it's sunday. even more happy that i'm leaving for VABeach in a couple days. when we booked this trip i had no way of knowing that the timing was going to work out so perfectly, but boy howdy am i ready for a vacation.

the last couple weeks have been pretty intense. and by "pretty intense" i mean "pretty drunk".... hence the heavy stack of bar tabs taking up space in my purse. the popularity of tommy tuesdays has reached new heights, to the extent that there will soon be a new drink menu only available on tuesday nights. :) hehehe, "courtney's cocktail" anyone? perhaps a "dirty diana" is more your style, or a "tiffany's trouble" or "andrea's ace"? ahhh the hilarity never stops.

but with all good must come some bad, and my alcoholic enjoyment has forced me to step back and self-impose a temporary period of complete sobriety. i don't think there's anyone in my life that would argue against an immediate cease-and-desist in my life. ugh. good times are good times until angry drunk girl ruins the party. simply can't have that! need to take some time off to remember how to be fun drunk girl. she's so much more appreciated.

before heading to the coast i have mika on tuesday!! :) yay. the micah/courtney 9.30 superpower is more than overdue for a reunion, i'd say, especially given my recent fear that i'd been replaced. lol. :)

work continues to overwhelming both annoy and enthrall me. ugh. the life of a rockstar, it's just too much! :)
