new look! :) what do you think?

last night i met yusef for a long over-due LOST viewing party (omg desmond wasn't on the PLANE!!! whaaaaaaa???) and it was decided that my blog needed a major overhaul. i absolutely love the new look!

it's been an interesting couple of weeks. i was just reaching my breaking point at the State when wendy & i left for the beautiful Dominican Republic. White sand, crystal blue waters... quite literally paradise. the resort was 'all-inclusive' meaning free everything... pizza at 3am, pina coladas at noon... *sigh*.... wendy was suprised to find out that i live a secret life as the little mermaid, lol, except when dolphins are involved at which point i freak out because they're gi-normous and rather scary. had a bad dream that turned out to foreshadow the horrific events at VT while we were away. it was probably a very good thing that i was in paradise when it happened, as courtney loves to over-think things and sometimes gets overwhelmed at the amount of evil in the world.

anyway came back to reality and was pleased to hear that the entire city of FC missed me, lol. being gone for a week allowed some my co-workers to experience the excitement that is my specific role within the venue, and i think they understand me a bit better now. hardly wasted anytime falling back into the drinking patterns, LOL. trouble!!!!

seeing Xtina this weekend, and the aaaaaaamazing p/bjorn/john on monday, woo hoo! i'm so overwhelmed with new music at the moment.... convined TPTB to book b.dennen, definitely looking forward to that one... also keane, damien, mika on the horizon... yay! live music. not to mention the new rufus in several weeks. who knows what the summer will bring as far as that goes. *sigh*

i'm missing a killer birthday celebration in london @ melrose place next weekend, sadness. i love my friends!!! what amazing party-planners they are!!! :)
