i know it's only day 5, but i must say i am enjoying my new job. i like coming into the city everyday, and my co-workers are incredibly nice, and i think this is a good fit for me. i'm in one of the more famous buildings in DC, and my hours are 10 to 6 so i miss the morning rush hour... (mostly)... and micah's right next door so we get to do lunch as often as we can stand each other. :) things will get hairy when they start asking me to work performances which might conflict with state shows, but i'll cross that bridge when i come to it.
the state was surprisingly cool with adjusting my shifts without losing any of my hours, but given that i'm the star employee and unoffical lord of the rings, i wasn't surprised. lol, just kidding. i honestly love that place, what can i say? there's so much drama but for the most part it's fun drama. got to see the notorious Tray-Z @ the state theatre for the mates of state show on wednesday. great show, as usual! i really enjoy that band.
so right now i'm juggling job #1, job #2, and grad school. at this rate i won't have a *full* day off until some point in november, but i'm not complaining. not yet, anyway. to quote micah, "yeah, we'll see how long you can keep this up!" hahaha.
i guess i didn't post much or really anything about c'ville but it was a great weekend. steph and i had a BLAST here in DC before the crew rolled in... she's my long-lost twin... next summer we are going to ROCK out the DMB summer tour!! she reminds me why i got into the band in the first place. i didn't take many pictures of the weekend, mostly just because i look at that weekend as the final chapter of a long, dark period of my life. Time to move on!

"Even if one has a very clear picture of his or her goals in life, where he or she wants to be, with whom, in what job etc. - if he/she only pursues this goal with all his/her might, he'll get to it and then wonder why he/she ever wanted to be there, and probably s/he'll wonder very soon where to head next."
