but i still believe, and i will rise up with fists....

WOW what a week. :) :) :) or more specifically, what a Wednesday. hehehehe. Funny how a single day can make a big difference. or more specifically, a single person can make a big difference. :) :) :)

went to richmond monday night for some pampering and old fashioned hair fixin'. i LOVE my aunt, and talking to her and natasha about the wedding plans actually got me really excited about the whole thing. i took a quiz in 'teen people' and, it turns out, i am not yet ready for a serious commitment. the reputable mag advised me to focus on myself before trying to bring someone else into the mix. hehehehehe, ahhhh oh wise teen people, where have you been all my life? rushed home tuesday for another job interview... i won't mention where but i'd venture to say that most people in the DC metro area would be super-psyched to interview for this organization. sadly enough, i don't like sports, so it wasn't that exciting. ahhhh well.

then, wacky wednesday, had the potential to be a truly sucky day... but it couldn't have been better! found out some rather exciting news about april. :) :) :) my knee heart's been aching since december, it's about time i took care of that. :) :) :) got some great advice from my BROTHER of all people!!! and finally sealed the deal on the bachelorette plans... and i truly think the party is going to ROCK!!! :) :) got invited to do a little bowling with my new BFF, but had to decline because, HELLO, new episode of LOST!!!!! ROCK!!!!!! after the episode ended i couldn't have been more happy that i chose to stay in, because it was SERIOUSLY a fantastic episode... not enough charlie, but my lord sayid is fine fine fine.

anyway, now it's thursday and, fun fun fun, time to rock it out at the state for the next several days. i'm a little afraid to go back in, after saturday night, but melissa assures me it wasn't that bad. hehehehehe.

overall i've had some productive realizations this week. i'm realizing that for self-improvement to be successful, it has to be a group effort. i know it sounds silly, but going to richmond to fix my hair and other physical things made me feel a LOT better this week, and talking to my aunt and natasha about my hair and skin and things of that nature is really good for me, because they point out things i would have never considered. similiarly, talking to anthony about my long-term career goals really opened up my eyes about my situation, and made me realize it's now or never, but that doesn't have to happen overnight.

things i love this week::::::
1) new cds!!!! WOO HOO!!! - jenny lewis & the watson twins - ROCK.
2) yusef - way to keep me grounded.
3) seeing stephen fretwell's cd in the 'next big thing' section at tower - why didn't i shag him when i had the chance in liverpool??????? ugh, REGRETS! ;) just kidding, helen!
4) MASON!!!! - all the news around here is Mason-rific, and NBC4 even went so far to do a report on the life and time of George Mason himself... it's like, why didn't they call me? i could have told them alllll about mr. mason, man, myth, legend.
5) Lost - charlie & sayid. enough said.
6) London - getting big fat emails from gitta and michael. :) miss them!!
