yay! winter tour 2005!!! had a whirlwind family thanksgiving before barely catching my flight to minneapolis for the tour kickoff. had an AMAZING time catch up with alllllll the best mid-west nancies!! left the pre-party a bit early to catch gavin open for the band, of course. 'twas amazing, but a little lost on the DMB crowd, i think. after the show carter singled me out, smiled, pointed, and tossed a drumstick towards me. i reached as high as i could in the air... jumped up... felt it brush my fingertips... and then sail on past, landing about three rows behind me. ahhhhh classic. gooood times. i immediately called my mother and thanked her for never encouraging me to play sports, thus explaining my stellar hand-eye coordination. hehehe. but 'twas a great night all and in all, and the setlists keep getting better, so i'm pumped for my front row PSU experience on tuesday.
got a new job!!! see you in hell, server-life. the state theatre is my rock of the ages now. that and good ol' substitute teaching. one of these days i'll decide what exactly i'm doing with my life. in the meantime i'm living it up. oh, and i'm convinced that myspace is truly the devil. more on this to come.
